Pedestal Refurbishment



  • The Plan:
    • Full-Service Contract to cover entire spectrum of tasks
    • Field Process
      • Remove Pedestal from tower (requires radome/antenna removal)
      • Replace Pedestal with remanufactured pedestal
      • Re-install antenna and radome
      • Test System
      • Ship old pedestal to remanufacturing facility
    • Pedestal Remanufacturing
      • Complete tear down
      • Inspect/Test wear components and replace as required
      • Rebuild pedestal to OEM specifications
      • Factory acceptance test
      • Ship remanufactured pedestal as directed
  • Limitations of a Round Robin approach:
    • Only 4 spare pedestals (3 FSP and 1 LPP)
    • Spares are seed stock for round robin process
