System Documentation

The Systems Documentation Team (SDT) evaluates and reviews proposed changes that directly impact the technical documents and provides cost and time estimates for these impacts. SDT also reviews, develops, and provides updates to WSR-88D Next Generation Weather Radar, Supplemental Product Generator, and Wind Profiler maintenance and operations technical manuals along with updates to all software specifications maintained by the ROC. Finally, SDT generates and distributes modification, software, and maintenance documents for the WSR-88D Next Generation Weather Radar, Supplemental Product Generator, Wind Profiler, and National Level II systems for the National Weather Service, the United States Air Force, and the Federal Aviation Administration.

Configuration Management

Configuration Management performs identification, control, and status accounting of the hardware and software components of the WSR-88D system

Retrofit Management

Retrofit Management analyzes proposed hardware and software changes, and provides logistics assessment of baseline impacts including cost and schedule

Site ID Database

This database stores a variety of information on each NEXRAD radar site, including: NOAA, DOD, FAA.
